A HOTEL WITH A HISTORY
Hotel Las Cortes de Cádizis a typical Manor-house of the shippers to India, located in the heart of the city, in the historic centre of Cádiz.
Built in the 19th century for the Marqués de la Cañada, who was involved in maritime trade. Construction was completed in 1859, as can be seen on the entrance gate.
The building comprises a ground floor, where the central courtyard is located and where the balls of the period used to be held; the first floor, for the administration; the second floor belonged to the nobility and the third floor for the staff.
